Frisco’s very own golf prodigy is swinging his way through the national stage. Luke Colton, a senior at Wakeland High School and two time Class 5A state champ, has officially advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in Dallas.

He plays the quarterfinals today, and if he wins, he’ll move straight into the semifinals. Final round’s a 36 hole showdown on Saturday. Go Luke, you’ve got the whole city cheering you on.
