The Friday Recap for Frisco

Howdy, Frisco. đ¤ď¸
Happy Friday, yâall, we made it! Whether youâve spent the week dodging construction cones, sipping overpriced pumpkin spice, or pretending your allergies are âjust a cold,â itâs time to wind down with your favorite neighborhood update. This weekendâs got theme parks, artsy runs, fall markets, and even magic shows that might just blow your socks off (literally). Letâs get into it.

đ˘ Sneak Peek: Universal Kids Theme Park Coming to Frisco

Frisco just got a major upgrade in the âfun for the whole familyâ department. Universal released brand new renderings for the upcoming Universal Kids Resort, set to open in 2026, and it looks straight out of a dream (or, well, seven of them).
Whatâs inside:
7 themed lands: featuring favorites like Shrek, Puss in Boots, Minions, Trolls, SpongeBob, and Jurassic World
The Isle of Curiosity: Uour main entrance and meet and greet hub with Gabby from Gabbyâs Dollhouse
Shrekâs Swamp Rompinâ Stomp and Splash & Smash play zones
Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, a mini water park
TrollsFest, Bikini Bottom, and Jurassic Adventure Camp with dino meetups
Plus: sensory gardens, carnival games, and a 300 room on site hotel
The park is designed for kids and families, think Disneylandâs little cousin who still eats mac & cheese but can afford a resort pass.
The no cost way to find out whatâs up with your roof

Letâs be honest, most people donât think about their roof until water starts dripping into the kitchen. Thatâs exactly when C2 Roofing, right here in Frisco, shows up and saves the day.
What I like about them is simple: theyâre local, not some storm chasing crew from three states away. Theyâve repaired and replaced over 1,200 roofs across DFW, and theyâll inspect yours for free, no pressure, no hidden fees, just an honest look at whatâs going on up there.
Hereâs the thing, theyâre not the fastest company in town. Theyâll actually take their time on your roof. But thatâs because they refuse to rush jobs just to move to the next one. Theyâd rather do it right the first time so you donât call again six months later.
So hereâs what you can do
1. Click Here or below.
3. Get your free inspection before they stop offering it
P.S. Theyâre local and busy, only a few free inspections daily.
P.P.S. This is a Frisco Insider subscriber exclusive offer!

What theyâll offer:
Personal & business banking
Agricultural and mortgage services
Wealth management, insurance, and international private banking
At 3,488 square feet and a cost of $1.7M, the building should open early next year. Translation: another reason your HOA payments might finally have a closer drop off spot.
đŹ Frisco Ranks Among Safest Cities for Trick-or-Treating
Good news, parents, Frisco ranked #5 safest city in America for trick or treating this Halloween, according to a new report by safehome.org.
Spooky stats:
15.4 law enforcement officers per 10K residents
Only 1.4 registered offenders per 10K
Violent crime rate: 10.1 per 10K
Pedestrian fatality rate: nearly zero
Frisco joins Yonkers, Naperville, NYC, and Gilbert in the top five safest cities, and beats out plenty of big names. So go ahead, let your kids wear that costume with no visibility, youâre statistically fine.
