Frisco Teen Indicted in Track Meet Stabbing Death
Karmelo Anthony, 17, has been indicted for murder in the April stabbing of Austin Metcalf at a Frisco ISD track meet. The case, now heading to trial has sparked deep community concern and national attention.

📜 Charge: First degree murder
🧑⚖️ Punishment: 5–99 years or life if convicted
⚖️ Defense: Anthony’s lawyer is claiming self-defense, arguing that the full story hasn’t yet been heard.

Frisco Church Musician Found Dead After Reported Missing
Michael Rigsby, 26, a beloved organist(musician) at The Bridge Frisco (formerly The Potter’s House of North Dallas), was found dead Monday morning on Hickory Street, just hours after being reported missing by Irving PD.
Rigsby’s music and presence were deeply cherished by the church community.
He helped define the sound of Sunday worship and was remembered as a faithful, gentle spirit.
The case remains under investigation, with Frisco PD leading and Irving PD assisting. The community has rallied in prayer and support for Rigsby’s family.
