World’s First Active Spine Robot Launches in Frisco

Medical City Frisco just made history as the first hospital in the world to use “active spine robotics”, a new tech assisting surgeons with more precision during minimally invasive procedures.

What it does:

• Tracks patient movement during surgery

• Allows 3D surgical planning

• Helps place bone screws with robotic guidance

Dr. Isador Lieberman led the groundbreaking first case right here in Frisco, calling it a game changer for surgical accuracy and recovery. CEO Ken Stevens says this proves why Medical City Frisco is the “destination of choice” for high quality care.

🦟 West Nile Virus Found in Mosquito Pools

Frisco’s mosquito surveillance team has detected positive West Nile Virus samples in the Panther Creek and Ridge Manor neighborhoods.

No human cases yet, but the city is stepping up efforts to stop the spread.
