The Monday Scoop for Frisco

Howdy, Frisco!
Happy Monday, neighbors! Hope your weekend had the right balance of sunshine, outings, and maybe a nap or two. If not, no worries, this week is serving up local news, some very Frisco problems (construction, buses, and roundabouts), plus events to keep you out and about. Let’s dive in.

Frisco Businesses Rally to #SAVEMAIN as Construction Drags On 🚧
Downtown Frisco businesses are banding together under the new #SAVEMAIN campaign as three overlapping projects choke off access and squeeze profits.
Projects: Main Street rebuild, Fourth Street Plaza, and a four story parking garage
Show of Support: 200+ people stood with signs and shirts for a drone photo
Businesses: Some refinancing, borrowing, or taking loans to stay afloat
The upgrades are set to finish by early 2026 (hello, FIFA World Cup tourists), but merchants say they need financial relief now. Shoppers can help by eating local, buying gift cards, or just dealing with the detours for a coffee or lunch downtown.

Here’s the simple equation: less pain + better movement = more of the life you like. If stiffness, headaches, or that stubborn mid back pinch keep interrupting your groove, Core Strength Wellness Center, nearby in Prosper, makes fixing it feel doable.
What you can expect:
• A quick, clear assessment so you know what’s going on.
• Targeted adjustments and hands on muscle work to unlock motion.
• Easy routines you’ll actually use between visits (think 5–10 minutes).
• Short appointments that respect busy Frisco schedules.
Translation: fewer “skip it” days, better sleep, and less negotiating with your body before workouts, meetings, or kid-juggling.
The vibe is friendly and practical. You’ll get straight answers, not a lecture, a plan you understand, not a maze. That drive to Prosper pays off with a calm setting, easy parking, and people who remember your name and goals. Progress tracked, week by week.
If you’ve tried to stretch it away, rest it away, or ignore it, try the approach that combines relief with real world habits. Your spine, shoulders, and hips will thank you, and so will your calendar.
Start small, feel big results, and keep your days moving smoothly again.

Grand Park Design Work Moves Ahead 🌳
Plans for Frisco’s massive 1,000 acre Grand Park are taking shape, with a design firm aiming to finalize plans in early 2026.
Location: From Dallas North Tollway to Lake Lewisville and FM 423
Phase 1: Civic Park with pond, amphitheater, and sculpture garden
Phase 2: Frisco’s first-ever nature center
Construction on the first phases could wrap by 2027, giving us a park larger than Central Park’s footprint. Officials see Grand Park as Frisco’s “crown jewel,” a regional destination that mixes nature, art, and recreation all in one spot.
Frisco ISD Approves 20 New School Buses 🚌
At an August meeting, Frisco ISD approved the purchase of 20 new buses totaling $3.28 million.
First purchase: 7 special needs buses (24 seats each) – $1.2M
Second purchase: 10 buses (77 seats each) – $1.73M
Third purchase: 3 buses – $354K, delivery in ~5–6 months
The district is buying from Longhorn Bus Sales across three separate transactions. These buses will expand capacity as FISD continues to manage one of the largest student transportation systems in North Texas.
