The Monday Scoop for Frisco

Howdy, Frisco

Happy Monday. If you’ve been dodging spring storms and construction cones like it’s a video game, you're not alone. We’ve got big wins, big openings, and one truly futuristic expo this week. Let’s get into it.

🏡 Golf Course Glamour in Stonebriar Village

If you’ve got a spare $1.6 million and a thing for Sub-Zero fridges and heated pools, you might want to swing by 2 Spyglass Court. This 4-bed, 3-bath estate sits on nearly half an acre right off the Stonebriar Country Club course.

With a chef’s kitchen, high end tech, and a backyard that screams "resort," it’s one of the nicest listings in Frisco right now. Also has fingerprint entry and a tuba-sized fridge for your LaCroix collection.

📍 Open House was May 18 from 2–4PM, but worth checking out if you're in the luxury market.

🚧 Main Street Construction Hits Phase 2

Frisco’s $70 million facelift of Main Street just entered its next stage, shifting traffic and tearing up fresh pavement.

This matters because the city’s aiming for a walkable Rail District ahead of the 2026 World Cup. But small businesses, like longtime shop PC Geeks, are feeling the heat, some reporting up to a 20% drop in business.

Reminder that The Receipt Race is still on. PTA groups can win up to $3K for turning in Rail District receipts, and every coffee, repair, or haircut counts.

🎾 Frisco ISD Serves Up State Tennis Titles

Big weekend for Frisco tennis:

🏆 Panther Creek’s Aariz Rehman dominated 4A boys singles and became the school’s first state champ.
🏆 Lebanon Trail’s Rishi & Rosser defended their mixed doubles title in dramatic comeback fashion.
🥈 Doubles teams from Independence and Memorial also brought home silver.

🎉 Add in semifinal appearances and deep bracket runs, and FISD just proved once again that we don’t play when it comes to playing.
