🏗️ Fields West Adds Luxury Tenants as Project Grows
The buzz around the Fields West development just got louder. The Karahan Companies announced 10 new tenants for Frisco’s future luxury hub, bringing the project to 70% leased.

Developer Fehmi Karahan says anticipation is skyrocketing as construction ramps up: “We’re building a true urban village, a lifestyle destination for everyone in North Texas.”

🛒 H-E-B to Build $14.4M Fulfillment Hub in Frisco
Yes, Frisco, H-E-B’s empire just keeps growing. The Texas favorite is investing $14.4 million in a 51,599 square foot electronic fulfillment center right next to one of its stores near FM 423 and U.S. 380.
This “H-E-B Frisco eFC” will:
Handle curbside and delivery orders
Reduce congestion in local aisles
Boost on-shelf availability
Use automation to speed up service
The project kicks off July 2026 and wraps by June 2027, This hub will ensure your online grocery orders arrive faster, and maybe even before your ice cream melts.
🎓 Frisco ISD Superintendent Announces Retirement
After 44 years in education and nine years leading Frisco ISD, Dr. Mike Waldrip has announced his retirement effective June 30, 2026.
Under his leadership, Frisco ISD earned:
Top TEA ratings in North Texas
Five high schools ranked in the top 100 statewide
A reputation for academic excellence despite financial challenges
The district has recently faced tough decisions, including the closure of Staley Middle School, but Waldrip leaves behind a strong legacy of growth and community trust.
“It’s been the honor of a lifetime,” Waldrip said. “Every success came from the dedication of our students, staff, and families.”
The Board of Trustees will begin its search for a new superintendent soon.
Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Opens in Frisco
