🏥 Collin College Approves $11.3M for New Health Sciences Building

Big news for future healthcare pros, Collin College just approved a new Health Sciences Building at its Frisco campus, with a whopping $11.3 million investment. The project will eventually be part of a $70 million expansion aimed at training students in fields like radiology, nuclear medicine, anesthesia, and lab sciences.

Construction is expected to start this year, with classes set to begin in Spring 2027. This means more opportunities for local students to step into high-demand medical careers, something our community truly needs!

🚧 Northbound DNT Exit Ramp to Panther Creek Closed for Three Weeks

Heads up for drivers, if you normally exit Panther Creek Pkwy from the Dallas North Tollway (DNT), you’ll need to take a detour. The ramp closed on Feb. 25 for pavement repairs and is expected to reopen by March 14.

🚗 Detour: Take the Eldorado Pkwy exit and use the frontage road to reach Panther Creek.

🎵 Frisco ISD to Phase Out Harp Program

Bad news for music lovers, Frisco ISD has announced that due to budget constraints, they will phase out the harp program starting next year. While current students can continue, new sixth graders won’t have the option to join.

Local student Grace Kang started a petition to save the program, gathering 4,800+ signatures so far. Many families feel this is a huge loss for the district, as the harp program has grown into an award-winning ensemble since its launch in 2007.

What do y’all think? Should the district reconsider?

🌆 Frisco P&Z Approves New Firefly Park Site Plans

Frisco’s future skyline is taking shape! Two new site plans were approved for Firefly Park, a $2.5B+ mixed-use development that will bring residential, commercial, and recreational spaces to our city. This project is going to transform the area, stay tuned for more updates as construction progresses!

🏀 Dude Perfect’s New Frisco HQ is a Trick Shot Wonderland
