The Monday Scoop for Frisco

Howdy, Frisco.

Happy Monday. It’s been one of those picture perfect fall weeks, crisp mornings, golden afternoons, and the occasional “did that thunder just shake the house?” kind of night. The storms may be loud, but the weather have been kind otherwise. Whether you’re sipping your third pumpkin cream cold brew or just trying to keep your front-yard skeleton upright in the wind, I’ve got your weekly Frisco scoop ready to roll, packed with news, events, and everything in between.

AT&T Eyes Plano and Frisco for Major Move

Big shakeups could be coming to the North Texas corporate scene, AT&T is reportedly scouting Plano and Frisco as possible new homes for its headquarters, which currently anchors downtown Dallas.

Here’s what’s on the table:

  • Plano’s “The Park at Legacy” campus remains a top contender, a sprawling 1.8M sq. ft. property that already houses major tenants like JCPenney and NTT Data.

  • Frisco’s The Star area is also under serious consideration for a brand new build-to-suit HQ, just imagine Cowboys players and AT&T execs sharing the same smoothie bar.

  • Former EDS site in Plano is another strong option, sitting on 90 acres primed for redevelopment.

City leaders in Dallas are doing all they can to keep AT&T downtown, but Plano and Frisco offer shiny amenities, new developments, and proximity to top tier housing and schools. If AT&T makes the move, experts warn it could cause a 30% property value drop downtown, but it would mark another huge corporate win for the northern suburbs.

In short: the telecom titan may be trading skyscrapers for suburbs, and Frisco’s rolling out the red carpet.

A no commitment roof inspection in Frisco

Truth is, most people don’t know their roof’s condition until a storm hits, and by then, it’s too late.

C2 Roofing has inspected over 2,000 roofs across North Texas in the past decade. We’re local, we’re licensed, and we’ve seen it all, from hidden leaks to insurance goldmines. We’re not the fastest, but that’s because we don’t cut corners. We fix what others miss.

And right now, we’re offering a no cost roof inspection and estimate for Frisco Inside subscribers, because we believe seeing is believing.

You’ll know exactly what shape your roof is in, what’s urgent (and what’s not), and how to handle insurance before the next storm rolls in.

Step 1: Click below to claim your no cost inspection.
Step 2: Pick a time that fits your schedule.
Step 3: Breathe easier knowing your home’s protected.

Because peace of mind should never cost extra.

P.S. If your roof’s under 10 years old and you think “it’s fine,” we’ll prove it, or show you what’s quietly hiding.
P.P.S. Frisco slots fill fast before winter, also we will never spam you or ever try to make you commit to anything.

Frisco Plans a More Walkable Downtown

Frisco’s vision for a more people friendly downtown is officially in motion. City Council voted unanimously to restrict car focused businesses like gas stations and laundromats from setting up shop downtown, all part of a broader plan to make Main Street more walkable and lively.

Highlights:

  • A new pedestrian plaza is already under development.

  • The changes are meant to encourage restaurants, cafes, and local retail over drive-throughs and parking-heavy stores.

  • The city wants a downtown where you can park once and stroll, not play “find the exit” after every errand.

Mayor Jeff Cheney called the shift “a move toward Frisco’s future identity”, a place where foot traffic beats car traffic and downtown feels like an actual town center.

Alo Coming to Stonebriar Mall – Summer 2026
